Accreditation
The School of Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). Additionally, 13 subject area disciplines are State Approved by the Office of the State Superintendent (OSSE) for teacher certification in the District of Columbia.
Other programs with National Recognition include:
- BS in Elementary Education (The Association of Childhood Education International), and
- Educational Administration (The Educational Leadership Constituency Council).
The PhD program in Counseling Psychology is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA).
