Praxis II Examination Policy
Passing scores on the Praxis II Content and Principles of Learning & Teaching examinations are required for successful completion of the internship course. One year after an unsuccessful Praxis II exam attempt, students’ grades will be changed from an I/F to an I/C in the internship course, EDUC 450 and 699, for undergraduate and graduate students, respectively. This change will give students sufficient credit to graduate, but students would not be recommended for teaching licensure with the Office of the State Superintendent in the District of Columbia until the appropriate examinations are passed.
