IRB Signature Requirements

Three signatures are required for all Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions.

• Ph.D. students need signatures from their advisor, department chair, and Dr. Constance Ellison (Graduate School Associate Dean, on behalf of Dean Dana Williams).  

• Ed.D students need signatures from their advisor, department chair, and Dr. Kyndra Middleton (School of Education Director of Graduate Studies, on behalf of Dean Dawn Williams).  

• Faculty-led research requires signatures from the faculty member, the department chair, and Dr. Carlas McCauley (School of Education Associate Dean for Research and Sponsored Programs, on behalf of Dean Dawn Williams).
